About Us
We used to be known as CRISP. Now, we’re BCP Carer Support — a name that better reflects the work we do and the carers we support across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
Our aim is to give you the support, information, and opportunities you need to connect with others and feel confident in your caring role.
Our Vision and Strategy
We want every carer in Dorset, Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole to feel listened to, valued, and supported.
Our Carers Strategy and the Our Dorset Carers Vision set out how we’ll help carers stay healthy, access breaks, and get the right support at the right time.
Who we support
We support unpaid adult carers in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole — people who look after someone who couldn’t manage without their help.
Right now, we support over 7,000 carers across BCP.
Our team
We’re a friendly and dedicated team, here to support carers in our community.
Carers' experiences
Hearing from carers helps us understand what matters most.
Get involved
There are lots of ways to get involved and make a difference. Your time, feedback or ideas can help shape the support we offer.
- Carers Reference Group: Share your experiences and help shape our services
